Drew Who?

The wizards at the WRIF are trying hard to erase Drew Lane. They are doing their best (which should say something) to rid their website of all mention of Drew.

Here is the new biography page. I understand they would remove Drew’s. No big deal there, but the guy who removed it forgot to delete Drew from Mike’s actual bio. Also the website for WRIF mornings is still wrif.com/dm. Shouldn’t they change it to just “m”? Or maybe if the web designer was clever he would make it wrif.com/mmm

They even erased Drew’s simpsonized picture from their picture page!

However, the internet archive caught it!

They even went through all the files and changed all references of Drew and Mike to The Morning Show, so you have this awkwardly written example (which appears all over the page).

Welcome back Curtis!

The Detroit Tigers are on a roll. After a miserable start to the season, the Tigers seem to have found a nice rhythm, and their power has arrived. They’ve scored 37 runs in just the last three games and have won four games in a row! The central division now looks like:

• Chicago White Sox 11-9
• Minnesota Twins 10-12
• Detroit Tigers 10-13
• Kansas City Royals 9-12
• Cleveland Indians 9-12

Everyone’s favorite Tiger, Curtis Granderson is back and his second game was as good as his first! After getting on base all four times at bat yesterday, he had a home-run and a walk today! 

Thankfully, the central division has been horrid this year.  The Tigers are only 2.5 half games out of first place. The Angels and Yankee’s are next up, let’s hope our bats stay alive. 

John McCain Overreacts

The North Carolina Republican Party lunched a new advertisement opposing local Democrats Bev Perdue and Richard Moore. John McCain flipped out and wants it yanked off the air. He calls it racist and bad for our country. Watch the ad and tell what you find offensive. Obama’s pastor and his association with him is a real issue and the voter should be able to decide if they want to vote for a man who would attend this guy’s church.

John McCain should stop attacking republicans if he wants their vote in November.

Past Drew and Mike Show’s

I have virtually every Drew and Mike show from 2006 and 2007 (and a lot from the 90’s). I know a lot of you are going to be missing the old shows, so I will try my best to edit and upload some of my favorite moments here. Here is a funny clip of Drew and Mike interviewing Mike Babone.
