Ad Fox News won’t air about Obama

August 22, 2008

The AP reports that Fox News refused to air the ad, but declined to say why. It connects Barack Obama to his friend and terrorist William Ayers.

  1. Wow! My respect for Fox News just went up. I never would have suspected them of making a moral choice where they put principles above money and ideology. This ad is obviously propaganda. A wise choice not to air it.

I’m reading Obama’s book, The Audacity of Hope. My reaction is that a man this knowledgeable and reasonable has no hope of getting elected in a country that re-elected George W. Bush once and gave him enough votes that political maneuvering put him in the white house in the first place. So far, Obama has explained why the political process is the way it is and put his finger on the heart of America, which is values that we all share no matter what ethnic group, religious organization, or economic class we belong to—and I’m not even half way through the book.

This book is great stuff and Obama is a great thinker. But he keeps it real by grounding his thoughts in the reality of everyday life. This man could be the greatest president ever, if he lives up to his ideas and principles. I hope he gets that chance. America deserves it. Vote for Obama.

  2. Curious as to the source for AP. Did they give one?

  3. ‘Organizers sought to air the ad on Fox News Channel, but a Fox spokesman said the network declined to run it. He would not say why.’

  4. Obama is a terrorist lover.

  5. Actually, I saw this ad on Fox News last week…
