Liberal rants on Sarah Palin

I get many emails and comments from Obama supporters attacking Sarah Palin and John McCain. No big deal, but I thought I share one that is pretty representative of the view on the left. This is from a guy going by the name “LDK.” He keeps sending me links in my comment box so his messages are automatically flagged as potential spam. Probably better this way – regardless here is a small sample of his rants:

Trying to rub out face the truth, that your Miss Cow Patty doesn’t IN ANY WAY meet the standard for *dog catcher* in any part of a REAL state like Illinois, where Obama is US SENATOR??

ROFLMAO at your yellow belly! Yeah, you fringers are the guys to take on the terrorists all right-you’re afraid of the truth!!!!!!

You fringers are all the same. LOL

Joke, Token, Joke, Token, Joke, Token, Joke, Token.

Of course, then there’s Babygate…who’s the mother of that kid again, hmmmm?

As you can see, there is a lot of anger on the other side. I get a strong sense that the choice of Sarah Palin has literally scared the hell out of those who worship at the Church of Obama. But there are a few humors things we can learn from his diatribe:

1. Sexism is strong on the left. This is no surprise based on how they treated Senator Hillary Clinton. I mean, “Miss Cow Patty”  - that’s not even clever. 
2. Experience Matters – Huh? All of a sudden, experience matters? Sarah Palin has been elected governor of a state! Before that her resume is full of executive experience. Comparing her to a dog catcher is ludicrous.
3. Their 1 to our 2 –  Their nominee is so weak, they have to compare their presidential candidate to our vice presidential candidate. And even when they do so, Sarah Palin out shines Barack Obama. Senator Obama has only worked in the US Senate for little over 140 days (compared to the decades of work by Senator McCain). Senator Obama has spent most of his time in the senate running for president.  
4. Sarah Palin is a token choice – Sarah Palin is token candidate because she is a female. Our tinfoil hat friend stands in the corner and chants,  ”Joke, Token, Joke, Token, Joke, Token, Joke, Token.” He sends me a lot of emails like that… it’s disturbing. However, the idea Sarah Palin is a token pick has the same amount of credibility that Barack Obama is a token choice because of his race.
