Caylee’s Grandma in heated exchange with Fox News

July 21, 2008

Cindy Anthony was on Fox News this morning and she got into a pretty big argument with our friend Megyn Kelly.

Props to Megyn for being firm with her, something about this story doesn’t make sense. I understand Cindy taking it personally, but the family needs a thick skin at the moment until we can find this little girl.

Defendant loses his cool in court

July 18, 2008

I don’t expect the judge to go easy on this fella. I love how badass the prosecutor acts, knowing full well the crazy man is handcuffed and in police custody. He ended up getting 13 years instead of the 10 the state was seeking.

If you know where this girl is, please call 1-800-423-TIPS (8477)

Caylee Anthony

2-year old Caylee Anthony went missing on June 9, 2008 but her mom never reported it. Finally after a month, Grandparents called police and they discovered the child missing and tired of all of the mom’s different stories. The mom, Casey Anthony said she didn’t call the authorities because she was doing her own investigations, like she’s seen in movies.  Watch this video from headline news for all the details:

I did some searching and found the mom’s myspace. She listed this information, a bunch of personal numbers to call if you have any information.

Jesse Jackson knew he was being recorded

July 10, 2008

Where has Jesse Jackson been? Prior to the controversy yesterday, he’s been missing in action. He’s been out of the spotlight of the media. Since his “accidental” remarks I’ve seen him over a dozen times on the cable news channels. I believe he knew the camera was recording and made his comments knowing everyone would replay it and would thrust him back into the news cycle.

He knew Senator Obama would accept his apology, which of course he would issue right away. Now he has been able to talk about Obama’s plan to continue President Bush’s faith based initiative. And about Obama “talking down to black people,” without having to come straight out and say it. He gets to take a leadership role about this issues that are important to him and gets to look like he is sticking up for the “black man.”

NBC’s fictional President from the West Wing did the same thing. President Bartlett was doing a series of satellite interviews one morning and after one of them he let a comment slip out about his Presidential Republican rival’s lack of intelligence. Well, the media went crazy and for the next week his rivals intelligence was discussed and debated on every news program.

Rev. Jackson has been marginalized by Senator Obama and he wants some of sunshine back on him. And the idiots at CNN and MSNBC seem to be complying.

Watch Jesse Jackson “accidental remarks.”

Shepard Smith – Obama will be President

July 9, 2008

Digg!

The FISA bill passed the Senate today 69-28 with Senator Barack Obama voting yes (after he said he would vote against it).

Shepard Smith reported the vote on Fox News this afternoon. He stumbles as he tried to explain the depth of the legislation. The salient point being the new law gives the telecommunication companies immunity from civil prosecutions, but not criminal. The idea being a future administration may very well have the authority to seek criminal charges if they choose to do so.

“What’s left up for debate now is whether criminal prosecutions would be possible if such a thing would come along later. That is certainly in the back pocket of Barack Obama if he chooses to use it, that’s down the road.

Someone should write Mr. Smith a memo and remind him the election is not until November and it may be Senator McCain or Senator Obama who has to face this decision.

John and Patsy Ramsey Cleared

July 9, 2008

Many years ago I saw a documentary on A&E called, The Case of JonBenet: The Ramseys Vs. The Media. It was a two hour special that looked at all aspects of the case along with interviews with the Ramseys. It was a knock out against the theory the Ramsey’s were responsible for their daughter’s death. They took dozens of media reports linking John and Patsy as prime suspects and poked major holes in the each theory.

Today the Bolder, Colorado District Attorney officially cleared them of any wrong doing in the death of little JonBenet. It’s sad Ms. Ramsey past away before she could be cleared of the charges.

The Times of London reports this morning, “Iraqis lead final purge of Al-Qaeda.” How soon will MSNBC, CNN, ABC report this wonderful news? We’ll shall see…

Dreadful Detroit Duck Drama

July 3, 2008

WXYZ, ABC’s local affiliate in Detroit, Michigan is out of ideas. Bill Spencer last night did a live report on three baby ducks that fell into a sewer drain. This is not Grand Rapids or Saginaw, but a supposed major market.

Bill Spencer, besides wasting our time to watch his ridiculous story, also wasted the time of the local police and fire departments. It’s funny, when Bill talks to the ladies who called him about it, they say they called “five or six different agencies” before theyCalled Bill for Action™. The said he came running over as soon as they called. can you picture Bill in his office, running out the door in a panic, on the cell phone, “call the police, call the fire department we have to save these ducks!”

They ended up flooding the sewer…

Thanks to the Michigan Radio & TV buzzboard for the heads up.
